You may get a taxi and ask the driver to get to Jalan Serayu or if you want to get a cheaper transportation, you can take an ‘angkot’. There are several ‘angkot’ route going through Jalan R.E. Martadinata, such as Abdul Muis – Dago, Caringin – Ledeng, Dipatiukur – Dago and Margahayu – Ledeng. You have to get off at the intersection of Jalan Serayu, and take a short walk to Cuanki Serayu. However, if you want an easier and more convenient way to travel around Bandung and reach this stall, you may want to use your own car or rent one from one of car rental services in Bandung.
A portion of cuanki in Cuanki Serayu consists of small meatballs, dumplings, white tofu and dry tofu or commonly called fried tofu. Taste the dressing of the cuanki first, with salt seasoning, celery, onion, fried onion and some flavoring, it is a fresh, delicious dressing. If you like a spicy dish, you may add some chili sauce provided by the stall yourself. Every ingredient of the cuanki is cut to small pieces so you can eat them easily. Here, you can also order batagor, another Bandung’s cuisine. There are two kinds of batagor, a fried batagor with ketchup and peanut sauce, and batagor with the cuanki’s dressing. The price of foods here are ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 IDR depending on your order. For drinks, you can order a soft drink or fruit juice like tomato, apple, avocado, mango, guava, orange, pineapple, melon, soursop, carrots, strawberries, etc. All of the juices are priced at 5,000 IDR. This stall open every day except on national holidays, starting from 08.00 to 20.00.
