To get to Alun-Alun Bandung, you can take Damri bus with the route to Alun-Alun Bandung, and get off the bus at alun- alun bus stop. You can also take angkot, a public transportation in Bandung. If you start from Jl. Jakarta or Pasar Kosambi (tradisional market), take angkot with the route of Cileunyi – Cicaheum, and get off the angkot right at alun-alun bus stop. From Pasar Baru shopping center, take St. Hall – Gede Bage angkot. If the trip is started from other areas in Bandung, you can take any angkot heading to Jl. Tamblong. After getting of the angkot at Jl. Tamblong, you can whether take Damri bus to alun-alun bus stop or just go on foot for 10 or 15 minutes. Angkots you can take to Jl. Tamblong are Cicaheum – Kalapa from Jl. Aceh, Dago – Kalapa from Jl. Ir. Hj. Djuanda (Dago), Ledeng – Kalapa from Jl. Riau or from Bandung Electronic Center (BEC), and Sederhana – Buah Batu from Jl. Cihampelas.

If you want to go shopping, there are Kings Shopping Center, Pasar Baru, and Braga City Walk providing fashionable clothes. Along Jl. Asia Afrika, there are heritage buildings from colonial period such as Gedung Merdeka and Savoy Homann Hotel. You can also visit Museum Sri Baduga, Museum Bandung Lautan Api, or Dutch cafes and art shops on Jl. Braga.
